It's always been obvious that Vincent Van Gogh was out of his mind, but I've finally discovered hard proof.

"In a picture I want to say something comforting." -- Van Gogh

He wrote that to his brother in letter 531. Be glad you aren't a scholarly editor, driven beyond reason to number every letter.
