Familiar explanations are more convincing. The cosmic microwave background is really the waste heat of early civilizations that burned too quickly through their resources. They started the expansion of the universe to counteract the cosmic warming, but it wasn’t enough. They all died or fled through wormholes, but left behind a few lit quasars as a warning to anyone who might happen by later. Isn’t that a simpler theory than the big bang, with all its crazy hypotheses?
