23 October 2008 - memorize it all

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

Everything is interrelated, which is good because we remember a thing better when we know related things. Doing the calculation, I saw that it is possible to memorize the entire internet in a flash; if only you could see the entire data set at once, each bit would explain all the others and the whole network would be branded on your brain—the whole massive output of every blog-dog’s web bowser. I actually snuck into a Google data center before I realized what a bad idea it would be.
