Forget about the 85 richest people. There are about 175,000 people in the world worth over $30,000,000 each, people who could be deprived of most of their wealth and still sneer at car drivers. Suppose we “taxed” them and spent the money in the fairest way. It turns out that even then, allowing for operating costs, there would be several thousand people per helicopter and almost everybody would still have to drive. So you see, it’s genuinely impossible to achieve true social justice.
