How do you check the weather before leaving the house?

1950 - Open the front door.
2000 - Look up the weather report.
2050 - Meh, the bot will give me a jacket if it matters.
2100 - The weather is controlled, it’s always nice out.
2150 - “Outside”? That’s not a place for people.

My front porch is extra-cold, so I open the front door and check the street temperature from there with an infrared thermometer. That’s self-reliance... of a kind.
