The theory of quantum mechanics is full of paradoxes. One of its tenets is that uncertainty is a basic feature in the universe’s workings. Niels Bohr and Albert Einstein both worked on early quantum theory.

Bohr was an uncertain man; he confidently accepted that uncertainty was part of physics. Einstein was self-assured; he never accepted it. It’s a typical quantum paradox.
