The world generates far more information than it can remember. Even puny space probes sometimes send back more data than the Library of Congress holds, and that’s nothing compared to what travels by microwave relay tower and optical fiber.

Have you ever been to the Library of Congress? Most of the books aren’t worth reading. I wonder about all those optical fibers.
