14 June 1998 - no stop signs

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

I changed my mind; traffic planners have it all wrong. Local residents band together and call for more stop signs to protect their children from speeders, while drivers passing through have no idea of the local politics.

It’s another example of the arrogant power of special interest groups. We’re allowing the concerns of little kids, not even old enough to hold jobs, to overthrow our god-given right to drive fast.
