With twelve million donated dollars tucked into her flea collar, Fluffy the housecat, heroine of the 1993 Hollywood hit Free Fluffy, escaped today from her training enclosure in the French Riviera. “I guess we did our job too well,” admitted a chagrined trainer. “We tried to teach her to catch birds. She learned to catch flights. She’s probably hiding out in Hawaii by now and dining on sushi.” Ecstatic supporters expressed a rosier view. “Free at last! We love you Fluffy!”
