10 June 2000 - trust Microsoft

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

Microsoft today filed an antitrust countersuit against the United States Government. “Nobody trusts the government,” declared CEO Steve Ballmer. “Plainly they deserve the antitrust suit. Yet the public does trust Microsoft, because we only attack corporations.”

Legal analysts speculate that Microsoft’s next target may be Canada. Said L. Eagle, “Microsoft is into acquisition, not splitting up. Once they’ve bought out Capitol Hill they’ll be looking abroad.”
