NASA and Scaled Composites, LLC, will swap roles, the White House announced today. “The vast resources of NASA will be invaluable in getting the space tourism business off the ground, as it were, ha ha. Meanwhile, Burt Rutan will redesign the space shuttle and have it flying again in two or three weeks, safer than ever.” A NASA companion release was too long to read before press time. Contacted for comment, Burt Rutan said, “Go away, I’m trying to get some work done here.”
