22 March 2005 - Dokdo Islets

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

Arright, here’s my plan. North Korea should take its nukes and annihilate the Dokdo Islets. They’re just a couple rocks sticking out of the ocean, they can be completely obliterated. That’s an attack on South Korea, of course, so it’ll be war. And Japan claims the rocks too, so they’ll have to mobilize. But nobody will dare to invade a nation which has demonstrated willingness to use nuclear bombs, so the North’s position will be stronger, they’ll get the diplomatic talks they want, and they can go back to spending money on concentration camps instead of those expensive bombs. Meanwhile, the South and Japan will have both lost their territorial dispute, and all three parties will be better off. Brilliant stuff, eh? What’s Kim Jong-Il’s number?
