reporter: At first they said it was a power outage.
disaster-management expert: Yeah, that was stupid.
Lying makes people more likely to panic, especially when
they can find out the truth anyway.
reporter: Maybe the authorities didn’t know the truth
yet.
expert: That’s even stupider. They have internet
and cell phones.
reporter: Should we disregard authority, then?
expert: Don’t trust anyone over thirty feet away,
they’re too stupid.
reporter: Isn’t that dangerous too? Shouldn’t someone
have an overall view and be able to take charge?
expert: Yeah, it does help to get organized. It was
stupid of me to say otherwise.
