Smart: They say “A bad plan is better than no plan.”
Weird: My plan is to have no plan. Is that bad?
Smart: Yes, unless you follow it.
Weird: Hmm, maybe I can find a worse plan and stray from it. Let’s see, the badness of a plan is proportional to the inverse RMS noise of—can you help me work through the math?
