Usually a theory that is crazy enough to be true is too crazy
to be funded, but when it comes to theories of everything it
is the other way around; work that can be funded is too crazy
to be true. That’s why we need the news media, as a
counterbalance to the Physics Establishment. The media likes
people who are crazy enough to be interesting.
clue:
In reference to Garrett Lisi’s new theory of everything.
