3 April 2008 - negative cost 2

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

Let’s examine the negative cost of a movie more closely. It consists of above-the-line costs, which is big money paid to whoever decides what is above the line, and below-the-line costs, everybody else’s money, the division of labor represented as a mathematical division. And we know that the final result is negative, so it must be that the key grip pays for the privilege. Wouldn’t you? I mean, what else does a key grip do?
