14 December 2008 - weather control

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

With the stock market carelessly going up on some days, my plan to become king of the world is under threat. No matter; a few hitches are to be expected. I’ll just have to turn to my auxiliary destabilization plan, the release of cheap, working weather control technology. It’s not only that each little nation will want clear skies for its national holiday, or that cities will want sunshine while farms need rain. Oh no, every interest group will leap up—the skiers will demand snow while the mountain climbers fight against storms. You’ll see. The tumult will absorb the world’s political attention and my original plan will soon be back on track.
