23 June 2009 - quantum politics

Quantum politics holds that every nation is a superposition
of states. In a transparent democracy, the superposition keeps
collapsing due to constant observation, whereas under stable
tyranny the superposed states are unobservable; in either case,
the only clue to the quantum nature of the system is an
occasional mysterious meow. But now in Iran, dynamic
disturbances let us perceive the underlying states as through
a Twitter feed, darkly. Our deep theoretical understanding
allows us to predict that the outcome is unpredictable.
