Evolution is smarter than you. We humans see things as simpler than they are, but we evolved to compensate by complicating our society. That way all truly important decisions baffle the conscious mind and must be made by efficient low-level perceptual processes, freeing our expensive cognitive resources to decide which TV show to watch next. See? No human could have come up with that!
