As knowledge increases, each specialist controls less of it, and putting the knowledge to use requires organizing ever-larger networks of people. But our organizational ability has limits while knowledge expands without hindrance, so breakdowns are mathematically guaranteed. My role in the system is to see some of the breakdowns and feel superior.
