reporter: I’m Cub Seltzer from Rabble News Network, and we’re in Oslo today to find the rumors behind the truth. Why did Denmark ban Marmite?
source: Well, Cub, for this government ultimately it’s because they hate foreigners. They hope to drive out some Brits.
reporter: At RNN we always dig deeper. There’s more to the story, isn’t there?
source: The 2004 law bans vitamin-fortified foods unless they’re granted a special license. Many other products are affected.
reporter: So Danes believe that vitamins are bad?
source: Too much of a good thing should be illegal. Scandinavian countries have always been ahead of the curve in realizing that.
reporter: Since Marmite tastes horrible, isn’t this a good deed?
source: You realize Oslo is in Norway, right?
reporter: I heard it’s the best place for rumors.
