7 January 2012 - like a war

A despotic government is like the end phase of a war: It is twisted and destructive and leaves the people ground down. An elected government is like the start of a war: Everyone is excited at first, but soon begins to wish it would just go away. Maybe someday we’ll invent a form of government that’s like peace.
