the nuclear war was lots of fun
(go ahead, ask anyone)
I mean, compared to other wars
the leaders gave their wheretofores
as always, to a rousing cheer
but there wasn’t time to hide in fear
while following news of daring raids
by us and atrocities by them
since even before the motorcades
were out of town the sun went dim—
the city is still reduced to ash
but at least it’s over in a flash!
