The two simplest engines are the ramjet and the valveless pulsejet. Have you ever noticed how rare ramjets are? Have you even heard of the valveless pulsejet? Any bacterium is more successful and more complicated than either, and Friedrich Hayek who was more successful than you was more complicated than you. Although making things more complex tends to make them worse by Occam’s Razor (just as most mutations are bad), making them better also makes them more complex. It is not a paradox, only a deep lesson which you must master before you ever dare to propose a policy.
