Cities arise from a cycle of bad judgment. City dwellers know that a forest makes unidentifiable noises at night. Then, out of bad judgment, we cut down the trees to build houses so that our houses make unidentifiable noises at night. Out of further bad judgment we gather in loud cities so that we can’t hear the mysterious creaks and end up learning a silly idea of what forests are like.
