2 February 2017 - reform the Electoral College

If we’re having trouble abolishing the Electoral College, I have a
reform suggestion. It was originally intended as a form of
representative democracy: You vote for an elector you trust, who then
votes for a president. It never worked, because the electors announced
their votes ahead of time. But that is easy to fix—we only have to
move the vote for electors earlier, to before the candidates are known.
