What is it with glowing eyes in movies? A reflection at night is one thing, but an active glow will hinder the business of seeing. Hmm... unless the monster/alien/robot has lidar eyes, sending out fast flashes that appear as a steady glow, and watching for reflections in the darkness between flashes. It indicates the thing’s advanced evolutionary or tech level. Hah, I knew it all along! Hollywood gets the science right!
