19 May 2018 - topos and topoi

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

Do you mix up “topos”, more than one topo, with “topoi”, more than one topos? If not, what’s your secret? Wait, if your secret is ignorance, then I don’t want to know.

clue:

“Topo” is derived from “topographical”, and “topos” directly from Greek. Since they were borrowed at different times, though from the same root, they are pronounced differently.

give me a clue so sweet and true
