If law enforcement gets its way, as in Australia, I won’t be allowed to use cryptography because I have the wrong name. Only Alice and Bob will be allowed. Is that why Google renamed itself Alphabet? Anyway, it’s strange but governments allow themselves to listen in even though they are not named Eve.
