By entropy, dirt tends to diffuse from where it is common to where it is rare. It means that I can’t keep my house clean. Or does it? If I clean industriously, and perhaps industrially, and make sure that the dirt I exclude never returns, then eventually the Earth will run out of dirt. To work!
