Here in the U.S., we have an education system designed by Procrustes to put students to sleep, but it doesn't work any more. The kids come out all different anyway, and they join political parties and try to practice the Procrusteanism they learned on each other. One constant over time, at least, is that what they've been told to call critical thinking is neither.
