Psychologist Scott Plous conducted a survey at an animal rights rally in Washington, D.C. 78% of the activists said they valued human and non-human life equally, while 53% said they ate meat or bought leather products.

The activists showed commendable courage. Lying on surveys is easy and frequent, but by these numbers, at least 31% of them admitted to hypocrisy.
