17 January 2018 - Ben Franklin 1

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

Of all the old-time polymaths who might invent time travel and visit us from the past, the one most likely to visit me, because of where I live, is Benjamin Franklin. He would also be the most convenient; I would have trouble talking with, say, Eratosthenes. Whether they invented it or not, the ancient geniuses are the most likely to have had access to time travel. How else did they get ahead of their times? In any case, I have to be ready. My job is to make sure that Ben returns home knowing that it is worth studying electricity.
